CODE OF CONDUCT
This is a private and independent roleplay blog for Rey of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. My original account was established in January of 2016 under the URL shadcwpreacher and has since undergone a massive renovation in preparation for The Last Jedi. You can still find the unique sith ! verse. I’ve created amongst my pages, but I’ve chosen to branch out into canon content as well.
REGARDING CONTENT & WRITING:
- My inspiration stems from the novelizations and the films alike, as well as research and headcanons. Unless otherwise stated, all content on this blog is created by me. DO NOT lift my headcanons, my plotlines, or my icons. I’ve been developing Rey’s character for two years, I will know if you’re stealing and I WILL come after you.
- Plotting makes for long lasting, meaningful interactions. I will always favor plotted threads over any other, so please don’t hesitate to jump into my IM if you have any ideas you would like to share!
- Formatting and style varies depending on my mood. I always use double small font and 60x60 icons though. You are 100% NOT required to match my style in any way shape or form. I tend to favor novella & multi para over everything else because I can ramble forever on certain subjects. Quality over quantity though, always. I would never ask you to match length!
- This is a SLOW REPLY BLOG, as are all my blogs tbh. If I don’t have a significant amount of inspiration for something it can take me weeks and even months to reply to certain threads and memes. I also have several mental illnesses that can really screw with my ability to post content on a regular basis, as well as a job and a fairly busy personal life. Do not rush me.
- Because this is such a hot topic that apparently deserves its own paragraph. There will be REYLO on this blog and it will be untagged. Kylo’s a big part of Rey’s narrative and I will not diminish this If this is something you’re truly bothered by, I kindly request that you unfollow me instead of harassing me. The content I post here is for myself to make me happy and it is up to you to take the initiative and make your dash safe for yourself.
REGARDING TAGS AND MATURE CONTENT:
- Sensitive topics and adult content will be present on this blog. Including but not limited to, child abuse, abandonment, disordered eating, mental illnesses, violence, gore, horror, and the like. I tag all of this to the best of my ability, and for things I’m unsure of I use all tws apply //.
- This is a sex positive blog, though straight up smut will be RARE unless you are a close friend. I detest the misogyny that permeates this community and how female characters are treated in regards to their sexuality.
- I am over the age of 21 and will not roleplay sensitive content with minors under any circumstance. I don’t usually follow minors on principle because it makes me uncomfortable. If you are dash only and we aren’t friends prior, or you don’t have your age stated somewhere in your rules, it’s likely I won’t follow you.
- I ask that you tag any mentions of vomit with emetophobia //, and I also ask that you tag ANY & ALL mentions of ooc pedophilia. I don’t want to look at that shit in any way shape or form. If they are topics that recur often on your blog I will unfollow for my own health and safety.
REGARDING FOLLOWING AND UNFOLLOWING
- The SW fandom got me cinching my rules tight tbh. My tolerance for bullshit is at an all time low. Don’t be an asshole, don’t be gross, don’t vague incessantly, don’t drag your dirty laundry across the dash, don’t steal, and don’t post ship/character hate or I WILL UNFOLLOW YOU WITHOUT HESITATION. I don’t care if we’re friends, I don’t care how long we’ve followed each other. I don’t want that on my dash. I really don’t have time for petty tumblr nonsense, nor do I intend to befriend people that actively behave in such a manner. We’re adults, lets act like it.
- For my own wellbeing, I will be softblocking other duplicates that follow me at this point. I follow a good handful of wonderful Rey’s already, but due to recent events involving theft I’m not comfortable following any more. Thank you for understanding.
- I have also reached my quota for Kylo Ren blogs as well. This may not always be the case, but until further notice I will not be following any more Kylo’s either/
- I am HIGHLY selective with following and interactions. I tend to get stressed out super easily. I am looking for long term partners and people I can world build with. It can take me awhile to follow people back, I like to take my time reading pages and content.

REGARDING SHIPPING & EXCLUSIVITY :
- Chemistry is key above all. I love me some ships though and you will see a plethora of them on here, including but not limited to; reylo, finnrey, damerey, reyrose, reyux, and alllll of the polyships, I’m very open to pretty much everything. I will not be tagging any of these ships, only the content in them, should it be questionable.
- I prefer mains but exclusivity is up for debate. I usually will not maintain it with main canon TFA characters though. If we thread regularly, or you would like to talk long term threading, I am more than willing to discuss it. We MUST click somehow though, I cannot be exclusive right off the bat until I know how we will write well together. I’m open to interacting to other Rey’s as well, though I usually won’t follow them first.
- I am currently SHIP EXCLUSIVE with @wrxckage‘s Kylo Ren and @asinisterbuzz's Armitage Hux, meaning I will not be shipping with any other Kylo or Hux in a romantic sense. I am open to other types of interactions and unrequited love. Y’all know I love writing me some Reylo tho so my inbox is open to PROMPTS & MEMES and what not so feel free to send those in, but as far as THREADING goes ship romantic ships are off the table.

Set from the time Rey was left on Jakku as a child, up until the Arrival of BB-8 and Finn.-
VERSE NAME.
set in an alternate universe where Rey chooses to take Ben's hand at the end of The Last Jedi.THE RITE.
Takes place directly after TFA. Rey is captured by the the First Order before mere moments before Chewie arrives to rescue she and Finn. Alone and assuming the worst about her remaining friends, Rey feels she has little choice but to comply to the wishes of Supreme Leader Snoke, undergoing her training with Kylo Ren shortly after her arrival aboard the Supremacy. The occurrences in this verse are as follows:
She is untrusted by all in the First Order, under surveillance day and night. Even as she accompanies her “master” across the galaxy, she is under suspicion. How DEEP does he loyalty of a light dweller lie?
Her light fades within the shadows, the presence of such morbid company CONSUMING it bit by bit. Her rage festers like a wound, darkness spreading throughout her being like an illness, making her harsh and brutal until the day came that she SNAPPED.
Her mind split, lost memories returning, her family at the forefront. She is inconsolable, unable to comprehend how a name linked to the LIGHT could cast her aside and NEVER look back. It’s the first time she asks for his help. They find them together, he watches as she SLAUGHTERS THEM.
It feels good, it feels POWERFUL, it KILLS her light. She has no other choice but to give in, to receive the dark. She has their trust
She battles alongside them, fierce and beautiful. She watches the Resistance CRUMBLE ‘til she stands on an empire built atop a foundation of BONES. They find royalty amongst the wreckage, proud and passionate as her son. The very son that cannot bring himself to end her life.
Student becomes TEACHER, slave becomes MASTER. She runs Leia Organa through and steps over her corpse without a second though. She has proven her worth, proven her LOYALTY where Kylo Ren could not.
The Supreme Leader deems her a worthy pupil and takes her under his wing. She is taught the like of which she could never comprehend, power beyond measure. Their combined will casts a shadow across the galaxy. The Sith have risen once more.
The Rite is complete.
SHADOW PREACHER.
Set after her training, now a Sith, Rey journeys across the galaxy for the force sensitive on Snoke’s command. They are returned to Coruscant, placed in the Jedi Temple (now returned to its former glory as a Sith Shrine) where Rey && a small handful of others train them in the arts of the Dark Side. The occurrences in this verse are as follows:
She is a queen cloaked in night, she stalks halls that WEEP dark energy from centuries past, made strong again by her master. She is the right hand of the Supreme Leader and the commander of an EMPIRE. She is feared, she is loved, she is HATED. She rules what she has been given with utter surety.
They call her the Shadow Preacher; she who treks across galaxies with beautiful, terrible sermons on the tip of her tongue. Those she seeks are given up like OFFERINGS, others come of their own accord. Most are ripped from their homes, dragged like prisoners into another world. They submit, or they DIE.
They are brought to Coruscant where they are conditioned and trained. They become Sith, Knights, or Stormtroopers. They form the beginnings of an army greater than the galaxy has ever seen.
